We’re hosting our friend Chef Matt Roberts for the week!
Chef Matt is the new Exec Chef at Alder & Sage on 4th street. His ethos is centered around hyper locality and sustainability, giving his food a wonderful sense of place. He has spent the better part of the last decade as a private chef in central CA, living and working on different farms and vineyards throughout the area. He’s a recent transplant to LB and we’re excited to see him plant roots here and build a community all his own.
We’ll have a few specials in addition to our regular menu:
Scallop Crudo with preserved calamansi salsa macha and pickled rhubarb
Wild Mushroom and Clam Tinola with chanterelle dashi, shiso and ginger
